Tío Lucas Restaurante Bar in San Miguel de Allende is a dining gem that perfectly blends vibrant atmosphere with culinary delights. Located at Mesones 103, this bar and grill offers patrons a taste of fresh, quality dishes complemented by lively entertainment, such as live music performed by talented local artists. We actually came here twice while on vacation for a week in SMA. The food is clean and fresh and perfectly prepared. We had the shrimp shish kabob and Caesar salad and one night my husband had the pepper steak and was surprised that it was so excellent. There was live music both nights which really ramped up the fun.

An excellent dinning experience. The callo de hache here could be the best seafood meal I have had in Mexico. Giant scallops that would make Red Lobster blush with shame. The haches were cooked in amazing tomatoe style salsa of Veracruz. Maybe the best octopus I have ever had. Very soft! Excellent service, a waiter at your beckon. Duel plays to entertain. The owner treats everyone like an old friend from the past

We ordered Ribeye steaks and they were delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was superb and the local opera singers held the space beautifully. Overall we had an amazing experience! The prices are very reasonable compared to other steak houses in SMA! Highly recommended!

Nice and quiet when we were there. They prepared the tuna tartare at the table, so absolutely fresh and you see what they put in. Nice menu and we have to go back for the Chateau Briand.. (perfectly cutted limes, no seeds! Good job!)

Drop your aversion to what might seem a hokey, touristy dinner joint and have an entertaining good meal at Tio Lucas just blocks from El Jardin. Tonight the live entertainment was two tenors belting out operatic renditions of pop music and straight up opera to a karaoke a soundtrack. It was great fun. Oh yeah, this steak joint served up beautifully cooked and sauced pepper steak along with a lovely grilled salmon on a bed of sauteed vegetables. Been a while since you’ve had Cesar salad prepared table side? Have one here. You won’t be disappointed. Skip the margarita from the bar, mine was made from a mix, not with fresh lime juice like I expect while in Mexico. And don’t bother with a glass of red wine here. Maybe their bottle selection is better than what is offered by the glass but the house Cabernet tasted like, well, grape candy water. Still a pretty damn good joint.

The food and ambience is great. For the price, both quantity and quality of food is very good. We went for dinner on a Sunday and there were two gentlemen singing amazing songs. The entire experience was one of the highlights of our trip to SMA.

This restaurant has a great deal of decorations but somehow it doesn't feel over done. The staff was very courteous and professional, especially Manuel. The food was great too. I had the mixed brocheta, a skewer with chicken beef and shrimp.

Popped in for a snack mid-day. Pleasantly surprised with nachos and guacamole plates. We will be back to check out the live jazz during the evening. The service was fantastic.
